Individual Yoga Therapy and Wellness Coaching for Specific Conditions

Individual Yoga Therapy is tailored to address the client’s specific goals while considering the client's unique body composition, limitations and their chronic or recurrent health challenges and its scope goes much further than a yoga class which is much more general. The practices that a yoga wellness coach recommends can include gentle movements, no movement at all, a vigorous physical routine, a relaxing breathing technique or meditation or any combination of yogic tools like these. It all depends on what the client needs to increase their health and well-being. Possible recommended tools may include; healthy eating and cleansing practices, morning and evening routine adaptions, yoga asanas(movements) sequence, relaxation and restorative yoga sequence, energy awareness and pranayama(breath), positive affirmations, visualizations, introspection, reflection, journaling, mindfulness and more. In this course, Healing Through the 7 Chakras, we explore yoga, dance, chanting, mantra, meditation, pranayama, nutrition, ancient stories, poetry and visual art to connect within and help support healing and wellness for body, mind and spirit. As you take this wellness journey, find the practices and tools that work for you and implement these tools to create a daily practice. Through self care, self reflection, action and letting go (Kriya Yoga), we can replace what no longer serves us with activities that create fulfillment and bring us joy, all while shifting patterns and habits that no longer serve our highest good.
